Vandam & Weldon Meeting and Event Management

Take a look at their website, www.vandamandweldon.com. Carolyn Laughlin VanDam and her partner, Jeanne did the party for the Illinois Delegation (Oregon too) when the DNC was in Boston in 2004. She tells us: I think Barack Obama is fantastic, but he needs to give up smoking! His book Dreams From My Father is wonderful!

Women's Equity Fund - Investing to Advance the Power of Women

Our late classmate Linda Pei was President and a founder of the Women's Equity Fund.  Their website states: We believe women are under represented and under utilized in the majority of American companies. We believe that women are the greatest resource to success and profitability.  We feel companies that "get it" and attract, retain and promote women are more likely to be successful and profitable in the competitive global market.

Women's Equity Fund invests in stocks that advance the social and economic status of women in the workplace.  We believe in putting financial assets to work to encourage companies to make a commitment to corporate and environmental responsibility, workplace equality and good governance.  ED note: Sadly, Linda died of liver cancer in December, 2007. May her good work continue in her memory!

Spectrum India on Thayer Street

Spectrum India opened on upper Thayer Street the year we graduated.
It is owned and operated by Elaine Decker's husband, Jagdish Sachdev.
Visit the store when you are in Providence. (It is now located across the side street from the Brown Bookstore.) www.spectrumindia.com

This is not purely shameless promotion. It is a placeholder while we wait for more links from members of the Class of '67. It's much more interesting than the Latin nonsense in the template.
